About Almanilly

My name is Angela, and I discovered my love of soap making in 2009 when my husband gifted me a lovely bar of handmade soap.

It was so lovely that I did not want to use that bar. It sat on my dresser for about a year. When  I finally decided to use the bar I realized all the skin-loving qualities of handmade soap that I have been missing.

 After using that first bar, my husband, always the culprit, gave me my first how- to- soap-making book. After learning to make the perfect soap and trying it out on friends and family it was time to open a business.

In 2011 Almanilly Soaps LLC was born. I named our business after three of our grandchildren, Alejandro, Manuel, and Lilly.
